Welcome to the Junior League of Atlanta’s Political Affairs Committee Mailing List!

PAC members work directly with community partners to advocate for initiatives to improve women and children’s health, expand education and provide support for women and children at risk.  The committee is looking forward to an active political season and our community partners will be relying on your help!

During the 2007 Georgia legislative session we will be reaching out to you to contact your legislators about issues directly affecting our community partners.  We will be in touch with specific ways in which to do so after the session starts on January 8th.  Please visit the Advocacy page on the JLA website (www.jlatlanta.org/community/advocacy.htm) for a sample letter template you can use when writing to legislative contacts.

Please keep an eye on the Advocacy page on the JLA web site for further information and below please find some “valuable links” in case anyone wants some extra reading over the holidays!
