ACTION ALERT

Help Us Save Medicaid Funding

On behalf of Grady Health System, please support the grassroots effort to stop the Medicaid Proposed Rule that has the potential to dramatically reduce Grady's supplemental Medicaid funding. At a minimum, the GHA has estimated that the loss to Georgia Hospitals will exceed $253 million. The Department of Community Health estimates the cost to the state at approximately $471 million.

The ask: to contact our United States Senators, Chambliss and Isakson, and ask that they sign on to a bi-partisan letter being circulated to stop the Proposed Rule.

Advocacy Request

Join the Campaign to Save Our Health Safety Net! We need your help!

In Washington, DC, a newly released proposal would cut Medicaid funds that are critical to public hospitals and safety net providers. But you have the power to help stop this regulation.

The Administration has proposed a regulation that would dramatically reduce Medicaid funds for public and other safety net providers. This regulation will go into effect on September 1, 2007 unless we stop it. Currently, congressional leaders are circulating a letter in the Senate to gather signatures in support of stopping this rule. A similar letter was already sent by members of the House of Representatives.

In just 3 minutes you can take action and send a message to your Senators urging them to sign this important letter. Your voice will make a difference in protecting safety net providers and their vulnerable patient population!
