Welcome 2007-2008 First Year Actives!
As a First Year Active, you are given the opportunity to learn more about the various ways that the Junior League provides support to the community of Atlanta. First, as a volunteer at the Nearly New Shop, the Junior League of Atlanta’s largest fundraiser, you are able to assist the Junior League of Atlanta in raising money to support our community partners. Your volunteer service at the Nearly New Shop reduces the store’s overhead and expenses and enables the Junior League of Atlanta to give even more financial support to our community. Second, as a volunteer in a Community Placement, you are able to see first-hand the impact our volunteer service has on the community at large. The Community Placement also gives you the chance to learn about the various community agencies that the Junior League of Atlanta serves.
