Record of Quota Donation

A Nearly New staff member or volunteer will assist you in recording your Quota donation. Quota donations will be recorded using a computerized system and you will receive a slip confirming your quota donation. Donation receipts are available for income tax purposes; it is the responsibility of the donor to fill out the receipt and assign a monetary value to the donation.

Donation Guidelines

  • Allow yourself 15 minutes at the shop to make your quota donation.
  • When gathering quota, estimate 20 items at $2.00 a piece. Women's, men's, and children's clothing as well as bric-a-brac, working appliances, toys, linens, jewelry, books, rugs, furniture, belts, and similar items are appreciated. Remember, no credit is given for ripped, stained, or broken items. Extra Quota is always welcome!!!

Preparing Your Donation

  • Clothes must be in good condition, clean, pressed, free of stains, and on neatly folded (no hangers please). Would you purchase the clothes you donate based on their condition?
